About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing and servicing IP-based security systems in commercial and industrial environments. Responsibilities include installation of access control systems, electronic door and lock hardware, cable running, and terminations. Candidates should be self-motivated, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues. During the contractual basis - candidate will be utilizing their own vehicle.

Requirements

• Ability to operate hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and install/service security devices
• Clear communication with customers and team members
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights (12–32 feet or higher using man lifts)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to recognize and identify colors
• Dependable and punctual attendance
• Ability to work full-time schedule and overtime as needed
• Available for travel, including nights and weekends
• Required to wear company uniform and maintain a neat appearance

• Installation and servicing of CCTV systems
• Installation and servicing of Card Access systems
• Installation and servicing of Burglar/Fire Alarm systems
• Strong construction knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills
