About The Position

2 YEAR BASE TERM, WITH POTENTIAL 1-YEAR EXTENSION. PREFERENCE IS ABILITY TO WORK ONSITE IN SACRAMENTO, CA, THOUGH REMOTE WORK MAY BE ABLE TO BE NEGOTIATED.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Two (2) years of FTE experience leading a team of Security Engineers responsible for reconfiguring and/or making changes to existing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Two (2) years of FTE experience in at least two (2) of the technologies listed below: Enterprise Virtual Private Network (VPN) Identity and Access Management (IdAM) End Point Protection Enterprise Domain Name System (DNS) Network Access Control (NAC) Enterprise Virtual Environment Enterprise Cloud Security Active Directory Group Policy Mobile Device Management (MDM) Edge Protection/Firewalls Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Patching & Upgrading

Nice To Haves

• Relevant, up-to-date security and technology certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), etc.).
