About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. As a Lead Scrum your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: As an experienced professional recognized as an expert in creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Reports to Associate Director Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Scrum Framework Stewardship: Ensuring the Scrum framework is understood and followed. Facilitate Scrum Events: Ensure all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) occur, are time-boxed, and are productive and purposeful. Coach the team on the value and intent of each event. Team Enablement & Coaching: Guide the Scrum Team (Product Owner, Developers, UX Designers and Content Writers) toward self-management and cross-functionality. Support the team in delivering high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning. Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress. Collaborate across organizational boundaries to resolve issues that impact delivery. Flow Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Leverage flow-based metrics (e.g., cycle time, throughput, WIP, aging work items) to help the team visualize their workflow, identify bottlenecks, and improve delivery predictability and customer value. Cross-Team & Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across multiple Scrum Teams and with business stakeholders. Drive alignment on strategic goals, manage cross-team dependencies, and foster transparency through open, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels. Supporting Multiple Scrum Teams: Support one or more Scrum Teams, ensuring they are collaborating effectively and consistently delivering value through high-quality Increments. Organizational Coaching: Lead, train, and coach the broader organization in its Scrum adoption. Partner with leadership to remove organizational impediments and support agile transformation efforts. Education: A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred Experience: 5+ years of related experience Preferred Scrum certifications: PSM I and PSM II from scrum.org Supervisor: No Our Lead Scrum Master earns between $128,400 - $192,600 USD Annual. Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
