About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing healthcare provider. The Lead Scheduler coordinates daily activities of scheduling staff, monitors their work, and acts as a professional resource. This role also serves as a professional liaison for staff, other hospitals, personnel, and physician offices.

Requirements

• Two (2) years clerical experience, with 6 month of supervisory experience, or 3 years of clerical clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in admission or scheduling environment in a hospital/medical office environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to type forty (40) words per minute.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the utilization of computer applications.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
