This job is located in Rockford, IL M-F 8am-4:30pm. Responsible for completing the financial clearance process within Front Office Staff and creating the first impression of OSF’s services to patients and families and other external customers. Must be able to articulate information in a manner that patients, guarantors and family members know what to expect and have an understanding of their financial responsibilities. Provides excellent service to all patients and their family members, physicians and other clinicians, and internal departments. Serves as support for Front office Staff and Schedulers regarding complex questions and account issue resolution. Mentors peers by providing hands on work-flow guidance. Works directly with patients, physicians, and payor representatives to provide information and resolve issues in a highly responsive manner. Functions as a team lead for assigned area of Front Office Staff.
