About The Position

As a Lead SFDC Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, guiding, and driving the strategic evolution of our Salesforce Health Cloud platform, including complex integrations with our core EHR/EMR product, AWS, and various third-party applications. This position demands not only deep technical expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud but also strong leadership to mentor teams, oversee projects, and align technical initiatives with broader healthcare business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce Health Cloud, a profound understanding of the healthcare industry, and proven ability to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable solutions that optimize patient care, operational efficiency, and healthcare outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and 6 or more years of directly related experience; and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • 6 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer, with 2 or more years of experience in leading major project(s) and/or development teams.
  • Expert experience in performance/integration testing, business and technical analysis, data analysis, and data modeling.
  • Expert experience working with Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, bulk, streaming API, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • 2 years of experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Intermediate experience in the healthcare industry and knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Expert understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practices.
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
  • Ability to travel and be on-site to meet business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • 8 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer, with at least 4 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • 4 years of experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Expert experience in the healthcare industry and in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Advanced expertise in performance/integration testing, business and technical analysis, data analysis, and data modeling.
  • Advanced expertise working with Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, bulk, streaming API, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Advanced understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practices, including emerging technologies like Einstein AI and Omni-Channel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and development on Core Platform, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, architecting robust lightning app solutions for service console, flow/screen, actions, and recommendations.
  • Architect and oversee the design and development of customized, enterprise-level solutions within the Salesforce Health Cloud platform.
  • Drive the implementation of advanced Health Cloud features, including patient management, care plans, care coordination, and emerging AI-driven capabilities.
  • Lead the customization of Salesforce Health Cloud applications to align with strategic business requirements and long-term goals.
  • Design and manage complex integrations between Salesforce Health Cloud and other healthcare systems, ensuring seamless data flow and scalability.
  • Oversee data migration, mapping, and integration processes, implementing best practices for efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while establishing governance frameworks.
  • Provide strategic technical leadership, mentorship, and career development to senior and junior developers, as well as admin team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, including healthcare professionals, engineers, product managers, and executives, to shape product roadmaps.
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews, enforce coding standards, and champion best practices across the team.
  • Monitor, optimize, and scale the performance of Salesforce Health Cloud applications to support growing demands.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, system errors, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and deliver advanced training programs and ongoing support for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Design and generate advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to track system performance, key metrics, and business insights.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
