About The Position

SAGE Dublin specializes in many areas of Veterinary Medicine using the most current knowledge and treatments available to ensure the highest standards of care for our patients. Our Dublin facility features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and surgical tools, and we pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of care. In addition to Surgery, we also offer services for Emergency, Critical Care, Urgent Care, Oncology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. Being a Clinical Lead on the Dublin team provides you with opportunities to utilize your experience as an RVT, while also leading a team of talented Technicians and collaborating with other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Active CA-RVT license preferred.
• Previous RVT or Senior Vet Assistant experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients.
• Consistent and reliable ability to monitor anesthesia and perform related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in providing the highest level of care and comfort for clients' pets.
• Lead a team of veterinary technicians and collaborate with other departments.
• Monitor anesthesia and perform mathematical calculations for drug doses and client invoices.
• Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP).
• Participate in staff development opportunities and continuing education.
