Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Must be able to maintain NRP and PALS certification
• Must be efficient with the care of infants and pediatrics in critical and non-critical areas
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Acts under the direction of the Director/Manager, utilizing Respiratory therapy processes based on American Association of Respiratory Care Guidelines
• Facilitates patient care with the healthcare team
• Makes respiratory assessment
• Implements, delivers, and evaluates the patient's respiratory therapy needs
• Responsible for the scheduling needs and coordination of the respiratory teams each shift
