Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing experience)
• Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing experience
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products
• Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
• Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
• Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Serves as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may oversee small projects with minimal risks and resource needs.
• Communicates information effectively while building skills to guide team members toward consensus on topics within the field.
• Sets performance expectations and may address sensitive matters.
