About The Position

As a Lead Room Attendant, you will play a hands-on leadership role, setting the standard for cleanliness, organization, and service excellence across guest accommodations and surrounding facilities. You will lead, support, and inspire the room attendant team while ensuring all housekeeping operations consistently meet the high standards of the reserve.

Requirements

• You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience working in a luxury hotel/resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest housing, lodges, public areas, and office spaces.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest needs, ensuring service meets the highest standards.
• Coordinating laundering of guest linens and ensuring timely delivery.
• Managing and documenting lost and found items, coordinating their return through the front desk.
• Communicating with the Front Office regarding guest room status, arrivals, departures, and stay-overs.
• Inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Vermejo standards.
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly and informing management of any guest-related concerns.
• Handling hazardous materials safely and staying current on efficient, eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
• Maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Planning and coordinating annual deep cleaning of guest facilities and off-season cleaning of seasonal employee housing.
• Attending weekly meetings with department managers to prepare for upcoming events and operational needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
