About The Position

The Lead Road Supervisor oversees daily field supervision to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant paratransit operations. The role provides guidance to Road Supervisors, conducts field inspections, investigates incidents, and supports operator coaching and retraining. The Lead Road Supervisor serves as a key liaison between field operations, dispatch, and safety.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of road supervision or transit field operations experience.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, ADA requirements, and operator performance standards.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.

Nice To Haves

• Accident investigation training or certification.
• Experience supervising in a paratransit environment.
• CDL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Road Supervisors and ensure full field coverage.
• Conduct on-street monitoring, ride checks, and field safety audits.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and customer complaints.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching and corrective action to operators.
• Review incident reports and recommend disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to resolve disruptions quickly.
• Support retraining and follow-up performance improvement plans.
• Ensure field activities comply with all FTA/DOT standards.
