The Sunnyside Lead Wellness Advisor (also referred to as Lead Retail Sales Associate) is responsible for advising customers (recreational, medicinal, and caregivers) in selecting cannabis products and acting as an ambassador for the company's mission. This role sets the example in customer service, product knowledge, and state compliance, ensuring a best-in-class experience. Lead Wellness Advisors assist in onboarding and training new hires and uphold adherence to state and company rules and regulations. The role offers experience in leading and managing hourly teams (recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, coaching), building retail business fundamentals (scheduling, sales trends, reporting), and developing skills in conflict resolution, self-discipline, critical thinking, problem-solving, interviewing, talent selection, and talent management. It is a dynamic role combining problem-solving, teamwork, technical skills, and customer service.
