About The Position

We are seeking a talented enthusiastic Retail Lead to be a brand ambassador for our superstore who strives to create a unique retail experience for our customers by helping to manage day-to-day operations of the business. This individual would embody our vision to create the ultimate customer experience by delivering excellent service and leading store associates to meet and exceed our performance standards. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a strong business acumen and a background in retail and/or luxury goods.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • A general understanding of cigars and the Cigar Industry is preferred by not required

Responsibilities

  • Formulating strategic business development plans to ensure brand growth and long-term financial success
  • Assist in setting standards and objectives for retail sales staff
  • Educating and holding sales team to company goals, visual merchandising directives, product knowledge, and customer service standards
  • Overseeing and optimizing daily retail associate routines to ensure efficiency
  • Working closely with the store manager to set and deliver upon sales and profit goals
  • Monitoring all store expenses to ensure the store stays in line with the set budget objective
  • Creating and enforcing employee schedules
  • Monitoring progress of store goals and driving results
  • Ability to execute all store operations and ensure they completed satisfactorily
  • Motivating team members to achieve their personal best
  • Managing Labor hours to reach hourly wage goal set by store Manager
  • Assigning daily duties for deployment positions
  • Monitor the store systems to be sure they are properly functioning and maintained (lighting, HVAC, humidification, water treatment, plumbing, alarm and surveillance)
