About The Position
The Lead Restoration Technician at Kustom US Inc is a pivotal role responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency service jobs, focusing on advanced techniques for water and fire mitigation, as well as repairing areas damaged by mold, water, or fire. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle, ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are available for each job. The technician will be tasked with cleaning and drying work areas, preparing equipment, and performing minor repairs in accordance with the defined scope of work, all while adhering to timelines and budget constraints. In this role, the Lead Restoration Technician will engage in a variety of responsibilities that include performing emergency board-ups, water extraction, and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely. The technician will also prepare rooms and areas for work activities, which involves setting up staging areas and equipment. Additional duties include assisting with demolition and general cleanup, completing minor construction repairs such as framing, drywall, and painting, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The technician will interface with customers, providing updates and relaying information to the Project Manager and Superintendent as necessary. The position also requires the completion of paperwork, uploading documents, and providing job updates into the company database. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when completing punch list items and ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a clean and working condition. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and may need to travel to nearby home improvement stores to purchase necessary items. Participation in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls is also a requirement of this position.
