About The Position

HBM Restoration is seeking a motivated, dependable, and trustworthy individual committed to serving property owners and commercial establishments on Oahu. The ideal candidate will have expertise in restoration, remediation, and emergency repair services, including handling water and fire damage, mold remediation, storm recovery, and more. Applicants must pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle, hold a valid IICRC certification, and have previous hands-on restoration or related experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Valid IICRC certification or equivalent restoration experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical activities such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm primarily
  • Availability for 24/7 on-call, weekend work, and emergency assistance as needed
  • On-call hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and Saturdays, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Nice To Haves

  • Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification preferred
  • Basic knowledge of water mitigation and dry logs is helpful but not required
  • Basic understanding of construction principles

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to IICRC standards for water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire restoration processes
  • Safely remove affected or contaminated materials that may be wet, burnt, or bio-hazardous
  • Proficient in using programs such as Encircle and MICA
  • Maintain accurate records of time cards, checkout forms, vehicle records, and job paperwork
  • Work efficiently to ensure good time management and quick response to job sites
  • Restock supplies as needed, and keep the company vehicle clean and ready for emergency calls
  • Communicate professionally with clients on-site, via phone, text, or email, and respond promptly
  • Be available for routine on-call rotational emergency services and after-work hours
  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and maintaining a positive and productive work
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
  • Reporting on team performance, time/attendance and contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
