Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. Responsible for compliance with overall Hospital standards of the specialty area (Reports to the Department Director). Responsible for compliance with standards during assigned shift. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all therapists in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license and preferred passed Registry for Respiratory Therapy (RRT)/CRT
  • Minimum of Associates required
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • PALS.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
  • With supervisory role experience.
