The Marketing Lead of Reporting and Insights is responsible for generating insights about campaign performance for vendors within emerging product categories. This role supports both internal and external partners by leveraging campaign results and first-party data to provide actionable insights regarding vendor-funded advertising campaigns. Join the Reporting & Insights team with Best Buy Ads and help drive the growth of the advertising industry's fastest growing channel: the Retail Media Network. In this position, you will be part of a division within Best Buy that has a lot of growth opportunities and exposure to new technology and analysis initiatives. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this ing and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

  • Analyze multiple large datasets to identify root causes of performance trends and indicators.
  • Provide insights and analysis to internal business partners to help craft sales proposals, develop data-driven media plans, optimize campaigns, and inform future campaign strategy.
  • Act as the primary contact for all campaign reporting and insights related content for external partners, helping them understand and activate against campaign performance.
  • Leverage critical thinking skills to scope analyses that address key business questions and inform actionable opportunities.
  • 1+ years of experience in analytics, insights, measurement, and/or reporting, or other relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating cross functionally (internally or externally)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to work autonomously with sometimes vague and shifting directions.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; with the ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to various audiences.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel (advanced formulas & pivot tables) and PowerPoint (data visualizations and storytelling).
  • 2+ years retail experience or media experience with a focus on advertising campaign analytics.
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques/tools (ex: Tableau, PowerBI, SQL querying).
  • Experience with marketing measurement and analytics methods (e.g.: Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, In-market Testing, etc.).
  • Understanding of ad serving platforms (such as Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager, SA360, DV360) and how ad serving works across websites and apps.
