Job Highlights: This Opportunity: The primary responsibility of the Lead RN, ACTT Services, will be to support the ACT Team nursing staff. The Lead RN, ACTT Services, will work in collaboration with the ACTT teams to ensure quality services are provided and to support staff training and development.

Requirements

  • Associates: Nursing (Required)
  • Drivers License (Valid) - USA
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness | 2 Years | Required
  • Working knowledge of psychiatric medications | Required

Responsibilities

  • In the event of a nursing vacancy on an ACTT team, the ACTT Leads RN will fulfill that job function until a replacement in hired.
  • Provide effective oversight, direction, and support to the ACTT teams at the direction of the Director and ACTT Medical Director.
  • Ensure programs are fully staffed with qualified, trained employees.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of ACTT medical services delivered, including, but not limited to, conducting audits of charts, direct observation of staff, to ensure compliance with agency policies, Medicaid, and other requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify trends and outcomes, interpret and develop clinical outcome analysis.
  • Assist with development of policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance safety and efficiency of services offered, and making recommendations to improve processes.
  • Ensure that physician orders and service definition guidelines for services being provided are followed.
  • Regularly meet with nursing staff to formulate and disseminate information, and be available by telephone
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently, through multiple modes of contact (email, phone, letter, etc.).
  • Complete intake assessments including: medical history, general physical condition, alcohol and drug histories and current use, educational issues, family structure and relationships, vocational history and goals, legal history and issues, psychiatric history.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assists in crisis situations.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required.
  • Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements related to specific program areas.
  • Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Travel and driving will be required.
