About The Position

The Registered Behavioral Tech Lead is a detail-oriented and proactive person who has either their RBT or BCaBA credentials to support the smooth and efficient operation of our ABA team. This role focuses on leadership and staff coordination, ensuring high levels of team engagement & operational excellence as well as clinical responsibilities. The role will be a balance of clinical & administrative duties. The person in this role must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for supporting Registered Behavioral Technicians through effective team leadership and engagement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Current RBT or BCaBA credential required in addition to current American Heart Association BLS Course for Healthcare providers is required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in an ABA setting, with demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team in the field of behavior change is desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and productivity tracking tools.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution of higher learning preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will possess a degree in psychology, education, social work, management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Implements behavioral programs, interventions, and strategies developed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Observes, measures, records, and reports client's behaviors as part of the behavioral treatment process and in relation to their goals and objectives.
  • Develops, organizes, and manages all materials necessary for program implementation.
  • Completes required documentation according to protocols and within outlined time parameters.
  • Performs all other appropriate activities as directed and as necessary to meet the patient’s needs and to achieve expected departmental and organizational outcomes.
  • Conducts regular rounding with RBTs to address concerns, provide support, and enhance team collaboration.
  • Responsible for the orientation and education of new and existing RBT staff.
  • Encourages staff development through formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • Follows and understands appropriate lines of communication authority.
  • Ensures RBTs meet all annual compliance standards.
  • Collaborates with Site Lead to manage and maintain daily staff schedules.
  • Ensures appropriate coverage and efficient utilization of clinical resources to meet department productivity and staffing goals.
  • Compiles and reports monthly productivity data to identify trends and areas of improvement for RBTs.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behavior as well as encourages and promotes the same within team members.
  • Consistently promote teamwork and direct communication with co-workers and deal discretely and sensitively with confidential information.
  • Contribute by identifying problems and seeking solutions.
  • Promote patient/family satisfaction where possible; participates in departmental efforts to maintain quality care.
