The position involves providing support in accordance with each person’s individualized service and behavior support plans, utilizing support skills for people with moderate to complex levels of need. The role includes implementing plans of protective oversight, as well as Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs) and Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) for all individuals supported in a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment. The employee will demonstrate and model professionalism and all skills of Direct Support Professional/Registered Behavior Technician (DSP/RBT) with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, regularly performing all direct care responsibilities as indicated in the DSP/RBT job description. The position requires consultation with program leadership, clinical staff, external consultants, community providers, and other direct support staff to ensure streamlined and top-quality care for individuals, as well as active participation in team meetings.
