About The Position

DeepLearning.AI is seeking a GenAI-forward Lead Recruiter to help shape the future of AI talent acquisition. You'll partner closely with Andrew Ng to identify, engage, and hire exceptional talent, with an emphasis on technical roles. Additionally, you will work with our engineering team, which will build custom AI tools to support this work. This is not a traditional recruiting role. We're looking for someone who uses (or is excited to learn how to use) Generative AI tools to supercharge sourcing, outreach, screening, and candidate experience. You should thrive in an experimental, fast-moving environment where we iterate weekly and rapidly improve our recruiting processes. We also expect you to be hardworking, and eager to do the considerable amount of work ahead to innovate on AI-enabled recruiting. Requirements

  • Recruiting experience, ideally including senior or executive-level hiring.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting top talent in AI, engineering, or tech.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup or high-growth, fast moving environment.
  • GenAI-Forward: You actively use (and are eager to experiment with) AI tools to improve your work.
  • Gravitas: You can confidently represent the company and engage senior leaders.
  • Ownership and work ethic: You have a strong sense of ownership and will do what it takes to move the project forward.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic coding ability (including using AI to write code for you).
  • Experience building or leading recruiting operations.
  • Familiarity with AI or technical talent markets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Andrew Ng and cross-functional leaders to define hiring priorities and build pipelines primarily for technology roles, including both senior technology leadership roles and more junior engineering roles.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting-from sourcing and outreach to offer close-for high-impact roles across DeepLearning.AI our ecosystem of companies.
  • Bring structure, clarity, and rigor to a fast-scaling environment while keeping the human touch at the center of the process.
  • Experiment with AI-powered tools to increase top-of-funnel efficiency (LLM-based candidate research, automated outreach, intelligent screening, etc.)
  • Partner with our engineering team to guide what AI-enabled recruiting tools they build to support your recruiting workflow. This is a chance for you to have innovative ideas on AI-enabled recruiting, and see your ideas turn into reality!
  • Build and refine playbooks for how AI can augment recruiter productivity. We are not interested in a 10% improvement. We want to rethink the playbook to give us a 10x improvement.
  • Represent DeepLearning.AI's brand and culture authentically to senior and junior candidates.
  • Ensure a top-notch candidate journey that reflects honesty and respect.
  • Partner with communications and leadership teams to refine messaging that resonates with the AI community.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Establish scalable workflows that maintain quality as we grow.
