The Seasonal Lead Recreation Attendant assists in overseeing daily operations of recreation facilities while providing courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient service to guests. This position supports team supervision, training, and operational coordination while actively assisting guests and monitoring activities within assigned areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
six months to one year of recreation, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is beneficial
Strong guest service and leadership skills
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
Comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
Valid driver’s license held for at least three years with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions
Ability to handle multiple tasks in busy recreation environments
Majority of work performed outdoors with some indoor duties as needed
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 5 hours at a time
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch as required
Ability to multitask while moving between activity locations
Ability to lift 25–50 pounds as needed
Ability to push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds when necessary
Requires grasping, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive motions
Continuous communication with guests and team members requires strong hearing and speaking ability
Continuous visual awareness for safety and guest assistance
Manual dexterity required to operate recreation and rental equipment

Responsibilities

Serve as lead team member during assigned shifts, supporting daily operational flow and guest service standards
Assist supervisors with training and coaching recreation attendants
Assist in coordinating shift assignments and ensuring proper coverage across recreation venues
Support daily operations of rental facilities, including customer service, inventory control, facility upkeep, and accurate money handling, scheduling bonfires as well as oversee reservations for Club KZ.
Welcome guests and answer incoming telephone calls professionally
Inform guests of activity schedules, rules, and registration requirements
Issue, receive, and maintain rental equipment and supplies
Ensure all equipment is safe and in proper working order before guest use
Provide courteous, helpful, and efficient service to owners and guests
Perform daily facility inspections and light maintenance to maintain safe, clean recreation areas
Communicate operational concerns and guest needs to management in a timely manner
Operate various recreation outlets once trained, including but not limited to Bike Rentals, Dunes Putting Course, Carousel, Health Club Desk, and Group Activities/Team Building programs
Assist with guest concerns or service recovery situations and escalate when necessary
Support seasonal events and high-volume activity periods across the resort
