Purpose: Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Flight Instructors, the Lead Records Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing process of student training records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) Tasks: Maintain performance data and generate trend reports for NSA management Manage the performance of auditors Maintain quality control for all intermediate and end of course audits Support the overall integrity of the training records Stage check audits: Provide supervision and quality oversight for all stage check and end-of-course audit processes. Ensure that student training records—including document verification, course minimums, and electronic record-keeping accuracy—are reviewed in accordance with TCO requirements. Coordinate with auditors and instructors to ensure timely completion and resolve discrepancies as needed. Daily audit process: Oversee the daily audit workflow to ensure quality control of the electronic record-keeping system. Monitor TCO compliance through proactive verification and guide auditors in identifying issues early, enabling corrective actions without disrupting overall course objectives. Provide direction, training, and support to maintain high integrity across all records. Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the AATD simulator, ensuring all units remain reliable, compliant, and fully functional to support the Part 141 training environment.
