About The Position
The Lead, R&D Corporate and Science Communications helps the R&D Corporate and Science Communications team elevate Takeda's science and demonstrate the value of our R&D investments. This team plays a critical role communicating about Takeda's growth from science to commercialization to patient outcomes. As a member of the R&D and Portfolio Communications team, this role helps to build key messages and identify compelling stories that bring to life Takeda's Research strategy and the organization's contributions to building a sustainable pipeline. This involves working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Head of Research to create and execute an external engagement plan and manage related media relations. The position also manages communications related to early stage (Research, Phase 1 - Phase 2) business development and R&D partnerships. Taken together, this work showcases how Takeda's science, development model, partnerships, and people are advancing an exciting pipeline of transformational medicines to patients.
