About The Position

Description Lead Radiation Therapist - Radiology Oncology DFCC at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Coordinates, prepares, and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures to infants, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist with minimum supervision. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion in a program of formal education as recommended by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Technology, which has been approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
  • 2 years of Radiation therapy experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of Combination of clinical and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities
