Job Description As a Quality Engineer for GE Aerospace you will be part of a team that manufactures Ceramic Matrix Composites CMC, the only manufacturers in the world. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in aviation

Responsibilities

  • Quality engineers do a variety of activities at each step of the processes, to include investigating non-conformances.
  • You are the last to see it before the materials ship.
  • Use your critical problem solving skills to see and identify solutions in the process.
  • Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing.
  • Perform incoming goods control, product inspections, witness points to control quality for items from external suppliers.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
