About The Position

The role involves product quality review associated with the manufacturing process, impacting departmental operations and responsible for planning and execution. The position has some autonomy but is focused on executing activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required, but this is typically with guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing quality.

• APQP knowledge and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control, including quality assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes.
• Ensures conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, and witness points.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
• Understands key business drivers and how the work of the team integrates with other teams.
• Uses judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance.
• Solves straightforward tasks using prior experience and on-the-job training.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
