About The Position

As a Lead Quality Engineer SDET, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an awardwinning culture. On the Quality Engineering team reporting to the Director of Quality Engineering, you will support assigned projects including: Work within an Agile team alongside UI developers analyzing the application architecture and delivering quality automation via Unit, Component, Cross Browser, Visual Regression, and Endtoend tests Work with Git, Nx, Next, React, Tailwind, Vitest, Cypress or Playwright, and GraphQL Influence the inclusion of testability during development phases Participate in code reviews

Requirements

• Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Two (2) years of experience in web application testing
• Direct experience with Javascript or Typescript
• Direct experience in the Cypress or Playwright testing frameworks
• This is a hybrid role and would require to be near our Dallas or Memphis office location
• Travel up to 5% as needed

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus six plus (6+) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve plus (12+) years of Technology related experience
• Seven plus (7+) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Exposure to largescale enterprise software products such as Atlassian

Responsibilities

• Evaluate automation strategies to identify areas for improvement and increase testing efficiency
• Be the critical link between software development engineers and quality engineering by combining coding expertise with testing strategies
• Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards
• Influence testability during development phases
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, and functioning processes and testing of products
• Design and write automated scripts that run tests on new and/or existing software/ apps in an Agile environment
• Work multifunctionally to help discover and eliminate issues through testing enduser workflows
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to achieve expected quality levels in products
• Collaborate with UI Software Engineers in projects by advising and implementing quality automation standards
• Mentor and lead others as assigned
