About The Position

OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE YOUR CAREER - It’s about exceeding your potential. We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for integrations between third-party HR systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS). This individual will design, execute, and oversee both manual and automated testing strategies to ensure seamless data exchange and reliable system performance across platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a passion for integration testing, process optimization, and mentoring others - with potential to grow into a people management role as the QA function expands.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on system integrations and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, SoapUI) and test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Java) for test automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for business collaboration and documentation.
  • Experience working effectively in a remote-first, distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead testing strategy for integrations between HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo).
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for API, UI, and data validation testing across multiple systems.
  • Perform end-to-end manual testing to validate complex business workflows and data synchronization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and implementation teams to define integration test requirements and identify risk areas.
  • Establish and enforce QA best practices, including test case management, regression planning, and defect triage processes.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured) to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers, providing technical leadership in automation design and quality standards.
  • Participate in release planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and integration quality.
  • Track and report on QA metrics such as test coverage, defect trends, and release quality.
  • Contribute to QA strategy and process evolution, preparing for future leadership responsibilities
