We're seeking an experienced Java developer with strong QA leadership expertise to drive our testing automation strategy across FINRA's enterprise applications. This hands-on role combines advanced development capabilities with quality leadership to champion best practices, implement automation frameworks, and influence stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with test automation tools and a passion for building quality into our diverse application portfolio, including Workday systems. This position will support multiple Corporate Systems application teams that develop applications in support of FINRA's enterprise. The application portfolio includes a wide variety of solutions that include SaaS, COTS, and custom build software. An incoming candidate needs to have the ability to understand different application types and architectures to effectively assess risk, set quality strategy, and communicate priorities. This position will be interacting with a variety of stakeholders including senior development and quality assurance leadership, application teams, and product management. An acceptable candidate must be a strong communicator and have the ability to influence others around them to produce desired outcomes. The candidate must have strong technical acumen to understand application architectures and write Java code at an advanced level, as this position will require hands-on development at times. The candidate must have strong quality assurance practice knowledge and strong leadership qualities to champion and drive testing automation vision.
