The position involves leading or coordinating shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. The role includes performing security services, such as electronic surveillance and systematic manual Security Officers' rounds. The individual will coordinate facility responses to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors, enforce policies and procedures ensuring equitable enforcement, and follow guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. The position also requires working with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety, participating in employee awareness and education, and driving as needed for company business.
