About The Position

The Security position at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital involves leading or coordinating shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and associates. The role includes performing security services such as electronic surveillance and systematic manual rounds by Security Officers. The individual will coordinate the facility's response to various potential problems affecting patients, employees, and visitors, while enforcing policies and procedures to ensure equitable enforcement. The position requires following guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. The Security personnel will work with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety, participate in employee awareness and education, and drive as needed for company business.

Requirements

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• State Driver's license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
