About The Position

This position is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation for the U.S. Army at Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• One year of specialized experience in dispatching, communications, and automation systems.
• Experience in processing emergency/non-emergency call requests for fire, medical, and police assistance.
• Experience coordinating emergency services with law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
• Certification in CPR is required within one year of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a military or government dispatching environment.
• Knowledge of emergency service dispatching policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate 911 emergency calls.
• Identify the determinant and level of response and provide this information to the responding units.
• Transfer callers to the proper agency or dispatch emergency equipment including police, rescue, or hazardous material units.
• Act as a liaison between medical, police, and fire personnel and other agencies.
• Distribute and balance workload; provide guidance and training to staff as needed.
