About The Position

The Lead Psychologist - HSPP position is responsible for provision of clinical care, competency development, clinical supervision, authorization of treatment plans/care, training, and support of Doctoral, Master’s and Bachelor’s prepared behavioral health staff. This position shall develop, conduct, and evaluate training for all levels of direct clinical service staff and interns to ensure utilization of evidence based practice for quality care. The Lead Psychologist - HSPP will be a subject matter expert for clinical care and provide guidance on treatment recommendations and provision of clinical services. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Aspire utilizing evidence-based best practice models. The position will also work in conjunction with management in working towards Aspire’s strategic priorities and excellence in health care.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience post licensure as an HSPP Psychologist.
  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information.
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and utilize critical thinking skills.
  • Reliable transportation to attend trainings and/or meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Community Mental Health experience.
  • Substance use evaluation experience.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems.
