About The Position

We are looking for a Full-Time Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of multiple premises. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment. We are seeking an independent, hardworking employee that is organized, detailed and understands the importance of communication and working together as a team. Must Have Dependable Transportation This Job Requires Frequent Travel - Mileage and Per Diem Paid Responsibilities Supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians Survey building conditions and mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards. Serve as the first point of contact for maintenance staff for advice, assistance, or problem solving Find solutions to emergent issues Inspect work of staff Coordinate maintenance team assistance as required for properties with deferred maintenance or needed assistance attend lease-up/rehab punch lists and inspections at request of development team and assist with transitioning the property from construction to the maintenance staff oversight Skills Possesses proven experience as maintenance technician Effective communication skills at a leadership level Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Posses knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working Knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Maintain manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Possesses effective computer literacy skills, including software in Microsoft Possesses the ability to lift up to 100 lbs Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Nights/Weekends on Emergency Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 per year, Depends On Experience License/Certification: Drivers License Required

Requirements

  • Possesses proven experience as maintenance technician
  • Effective communication skills at a leadership level
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
  • Posses knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working Knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
