About The Position

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Lead Project Manager , you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Cloud Platform Engineering and Operations team, you will report to the Senior Lead Project Manager. You will support projects including cloud migrations and modernization, network and security architecture, data and AI/ML platforms, BC/DR, and enterprise integrations. What you'll do during a typical day: Develop project plans and schedules; document them in Confluence and Microsoft Project Create and assign Jira tasks for project work and follow up with project team members on task completion Provide reporting on assigned projects by updating Jira epics and Microsoft PowerPoint How you'll collaborate with others: Schedule weekly project meetings to facilitate project planning and execution Lead project teams to accomplish the scope and deliverables of projects Coordinate with team members to update the monthly program reports Attend daily PEP escalation calls as a representative for the Cloud Platform Engineering team Projects you'll take ownership of: Implement QuickSuite Dashboards and cost allocation to reduce delays and error in cloud billing data Implement DataDog Enhancements to improve MTTR and MTTD for Hilton during cloud-based incidents on Tier 0 and Tier 1 apps Complete a POC to determine whether ECS Fargate works better than other application deployments methods such as EKS

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
  • Five (5) years of work experience in project management
  • Five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Project and Jira
  • Three (3) years of experience using Waterfall project management and PMP methodologies
  • Travel up to 5%

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus six plus (6) + years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve plus (12) + years of Technology related experience
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Seven (7) + years of work experience in project management
  • PMP Certification

Responsibilities
