The Project Manager will support the Sr. Director of the Strategic Transformation Office (STO) in project management of the organization's strategic initiatives. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of transformation business objectives. The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience in managed care or retail, preferably within the optical industry. What Would You Do? The Specifics. Manages strategic initiative projects from scoping to post-launch review. Owns development and maintenance of project timelines, budget, RACI, reporting, and stakeholder alignment materials. Acts as a single point of coordination and communication for projects. Escalates project scope, budget, timeline, or resource constraints to the Sr. Director and Executive Sponsor for awareness and resolution support. Acts as the single point of coordination and communication for strategic initiative projects. Supports cross-functional system requirements gathering, customer experience mapping, and decision analysis as needed for project delivery excellence. Identify, track, and communicate project KPIs and success criteria. Ensures the project's technical documents (requirements, RAID log, system architecture, functional decision criteria, testing plans, training, etc.) are thorough, organized, and maintained throughout the project. Maintains project updates and reporting in enterprise PMO systems. Contributes to the development of project communications best practices for the organization. Play a mentorship and development role to less experienced project managers.
