About The Position

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for managing the complete life cycle of IS and business projects. This role is vital as they are the conduit between business users and IS development and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a JD Edwards business analyst.
  • 18+ years’ experience as a general business analyst in an ERP environment or 18+ years of other technical Information Services or related business experience.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Other technical certifications such as ITIL, APICS, or industry specific are preferred.
  • Skilled and formally trained with at least two or more JD Edwards modules or other relevant Carolina Software.
  • Demonstrated multi-project management skills in a matrix management environment.
  • Demonstrated technical research and strategic thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a working knowledge of various project methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Prince2, Kanban, Scrum, or others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple assigned projects.
  • Manage projects from submission to post implementation support.
  • Lead project group from beginning to end of project completion.
  • Perform business process analysis.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct quality assurance aside of managed projects.
  • Develop and conduct training aside of managed projects.
  • Analyze and resolve project issues.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Minimize risk and exposure on the project.
  • Effectively apply project methodology and enforce project standards.
  • Identify resources needed for assigned projects and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
