About The Position

L3Harris is actively seeking a Project Engineering (PE) Test IPT Lead for Skyraider-II platform integration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to test and verify new engineering configurations and weapon systems, as well as coordinate test resources and events. You will lead the Test Integrated Product Team (IPT), developing innovative methods to test more efficiently and effectively. You should possess strong systems integration and troubleshooting skills with relevant experience, be comfortable leading test teams, and have the ability to present to customers in order to effectively lead the Test IPT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• An active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Demonstrated experience understanding of engineering processes and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Integration, Test and Delivery.
• Ability to travel as needed based on business demands.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive hands-on experience with first-article verification testing, components, subsystems, & aircraft flight testing.
• Demonstrated experience with FAA (STC) and Military (MTC) certification activities.
• Proficiency operating within a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM); Siemens TeamCenter preferred.
• Model Based Systems Engineering Proficiency (Cameo Systems Modeler).
• Experience working with subcontractors and US Government customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Test Documentation (Plan, Procedures, and Reports) required to support the verification and validation activities, ensuring system performance and capabilities meet system requirements.
• Conduct verification and validation activities for avionics and mission systems on military and commercial airborne platforms.
• Coordinate with the Systems Engineering team to ensure that all requirements allocated to Test or Demonstration verification methods are traced to specific steps within the test documentation.
• Support the definition of requirement traceability methods.
• Author Test related CDRLS to be delivered to the customer in the technical data package.
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel OCONUS up to 10%.
