L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a Lead, Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction. It requires planning and managing across multiple functional and geographic areas within a matrix organization.

  • Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
  • Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
  • Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
  • Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
  • Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
  • Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • 9 years’ experience in different phases of project and program management, from proposal and ensuing negotiations through contract award, project planning, project execution and closeout.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of related methodologies and practices
  • Experience in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be expected.
  • Experience with aerospace/defense programs in progressively increasing responsible leadership positions.
  • Knowledge with the FBM program would be desired.
  • Formal training in Project Management, as well as PMP certification.
  • An active DoD security clearance is strongly desired.
