About The Position

The Lead Production Cook is responsible for the preparation and production of large-batch meals in a high-volume production kitchen. This position ensures food is prepared according to standardized recipes, food safety regulations, and production schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in preparing and cooking large-scale recipes accurately and efficiently
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute standardized large-batch production recipes
• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment including steam kettles
• Experience operating and monitoring blast chiller equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable and punctual

Nice To Haves

• Previous large-batch cooking experience preferred
• Steam kettle experience preferred
• Blast chiller experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and walking
• Ability to work in hot and cold kitchen environments
