Job Summary: This is a hands-on supervisor overseeing daily shift operations on the production floor. Work closely with machine operators and other staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment, and will be responsible for securing the facility at the end of the shift.

Requirements

Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
1+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Familiarity with CNC machinery and production workflows.

Responsibilities

Supervise machine operators and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations on the production floor.
Monitor performance and provide coaching or corrective action as needed to maintain high standards.
Coordinate shift changeovers and ensure accurate communication with 1st and 3rd shift leadership.
Perform regular floor checks to verify that equipment is functioning properly and operators are following standard procedures.
Assist in training new employees and cross-training current staff as needed.
Respond to any equipment malfunctions or safety issues and escalate appropriately.
Complete shift reports and ensure accurate documentation of production data.
Lock and secure the facility at the end of the shift, including verifying all doors are locked, lights and machinery are turned off, and the building is safe and secure.
Serve as the point of contact for any off-hours issues or emergencies that arise during the shift.
