About The Position

The position involves assisting AOS in various capacities for the accurate picking, processing, and handling of outbound customer orders for assigned areas. The role includes responsibilities such as leading and directing employees, performing production functions, auditing and training staff, communicating issues, and ensuring safety and security. The employee will maintain accurate records of orders shipped and ensure good housekeeping in the work area. The position requires cooperation and effective communication with AOS and may involve cross-training into other jobs based on company needs.

Requirements

• Ability to perform light to heavy physical activity.
• Regularly lift 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
• Good communication skills to report issues and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist AOS in various capacities as assigned.
• Lead and direct employees to perform daily duties and reinforce policies.
• Pick, stamp, replenish, order select, load, and palletize as needed.
• Audit orders and train employees to ensure production goals are met.
• Communicate employee and production issues to AOS.
• Address safety and security concerns and communicate them to AOS.
• Process orders including picking, processing guidelines, and proper counts.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of all orders shipped.
• Ensure good housekeeping of work area and equipment.
• Assist in other areas when needed to complete all tasks.
