The Lead Product Manager, Search and Discovery is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for how users search, navigate and discover events across our platforms. This role is crucial for our continued growth, as a key driver of both new user acquisition, nurturing and retention. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in search, recommendation engines, and personalization with experience in large catalogue based e-Commerce businesses, to drive innovation and deliver an intuitive and powerful discovery experience for our users. The candidate will have significant experience partnering with other teams including marketing to enable an integrated user experience from the product through to nurturing and lifecycle marketing campaigns.

  • Develop and own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for our search, discovery and landing page experiences, aligning them user needs and company goals.
  • Responsible for all stages of product development and delivery, including: ideation, research, business modeling, technical specifications, building, launching, measuring, optimizing and scaling.
  • Lead a dedicated product team, partnering closely with engineering, data science and product design to develop the domain strategy, planning and roadmap and defining clear, actionable requirements for engineering and design teams.
  • Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify opportunities to improve search relevancy, event discoverability, and personalized recommendations.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, research, marketing, security, legal, and other teams to build out an engaging, valuable and differentiated products.
  • Articulate the problem you’re solving, the vision you are going after, write crisp and clear requirements and communicate the strategy, plan, challenges and constraints to senior management and various collaborators.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on search, discovery, or personalization in a B2C software environment.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning applications, natural language processing (NLP), or AI-driven recommendation systems.
  • Prior experience working in an agile development environment.
