About The Position

Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of commercial enterprise and government users, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services worldwide. The system is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals, with speed and reliability as its foundation. Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers. The company is building a secure, resilient, and modern enterprise network from the ground up, extending from terrestrial infrastructure to in-space systems. They are seeking an exceptional Lead Product Manager to lead the strategy and definition of the systems needed to run the business around their services and terminals. These systems enable customers to engage with their services through all stages of the customer lifecycle, facilitate capacity planning and reservations, and support revenue operations and deal desk. In this role, the Lead Product Manager will form a deep understanding of customer needs and how to best meet those needs with the right systems and interfaces. This understanding will be bridged with engineering capabilities, vendor capabilities, and financial targets to define a complete set of systems that delight customers, are within Logos' execution bandwidth, and enable financial success. The role involves determining the best strategy to develop and/or purchase and deploy these systems and defining their requirements. The successful candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, relentlessly acquire data to inform customer engagement systems and the roadmap, and drive alignment from service definition to deployment. The right candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, is energized by hard technical challenges, and can translate customer needs into product requirements that drive exceptional outcomes. This role is suitable for individuals motivated by solving difficult problems, translating customer needs into great services, and working collaboratively with development teams to deliver those services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 9+ years technical product management experience OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years defining and/or delivering customer engagement and/or revenue operations systems in a telecommunications company
  • Deep knowledge of OSS/BSS, RevOps systems, and Capacity Management systems
  • Proven ability to engage with customers to define requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to perform financial analyses for products and services
  • Proven ability to successfully negotiate and drive requirements with engineering/development and vendor teams

Responsibilities

  • Own the definition and roadmap for Logos’ customer engagement and revenue operations systems
  • Define the strategy and requirements for those systems, including API definition, with validation through customer engagements
  • Work closely with engineering/development and vendor teams to ensure technical feasibility, alignment with execution bandwidth and, where necessary, on trade-offs to optimize between those and customer requirements and financial targets
  • Continuously prioritize and simplify to help ensure on time delivery of these systems
  • Define and drive early validation of the systems through sandbox testing with customers
  • Communicate status of requirements definitions and roadmaps to internal teams and leadership
