About The Position

This role leads the strategy and execution for clinical genomics software, shaping scalable, compliant, and cohesive platforms that support complex workflows across multiple business units. You will work closely with engineering, clinical, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure software systems deliver reliable and validated results while meeting regulatory standards. The Lead Product Manager will define long-term product strategy, optimize end-to-end workflows, and influence architectural decisions that drive platform scalability and operational efficiency. This position is critical for improving clinical outcomes, ensuring data integrity, and enabling the organization to scale its genomics capabilities. The ideal candidate thrives in highly regulated, fast-paced environments and excels at aligning cross-functional teams toward strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, computer science, statistics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in software product management, including multi-team or platform-level initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, clinical genomics, or regulated life sciences software, with demonstrated impact on validation, compliance, and system scalability
  • Proven ability to influence technical architecture and long-term product investments
  • Experience driving alignment across matrixed organizations without direct authority
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing, clinical workflows, and backend services or APIs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Results, Interpretation, and Reporting (RIR) software components
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, clinical, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive, scalable, and compliant workflows
  • Translate clinical, operational, and business requirements into actionable product specifications, including UI/UX and backend functionality
  • Drive standardization of data contracts, workflow processes, and architectural decisions across multiple RIR components
  • Own measurable improvements in clinical workflow efficiency, system reliability, and operational scalability
  • Mentor and elevate product management practices within the clinical genomics organization
  • Collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to ensure validation readiness, risk mitigation, and audit compliance
