The Maestro platform serves as an essential solution for the private equity industry – from diligence to exit. We are looking for a lead product designer to join our growing product team. In this role, you’ll lead the design work on challenging, rewarding, and high-impact initiatives, and will be empowered to use your knowledge and experience to improve how we work. You will ensure we launch impactful features with a delightful user experience for our customers. This role has no line management responsibilities, but as a lead individual contributor you will be expected to act as a model and mentor to other product designers in the team, helping everyone learn and grow. From visualizing the future of our end-to-end user experience, establishing a design system, and creating wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups, you will level-up our product design process while ensuring inclusivity and collaboration. You’ll also dig into insights and uncover opportunities we didn’t see before, turning those opportunities into thoughtful design solutions. We are especially excited about designers who are curious about how AI is shaping product design and are eager to explore how AI tools can support research, ideation, prototyping, and decision-making. You keep your finger on the pulse of best-in-class design, emerging technologies, and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and proactively improve the experience. This position is based in New York City and is a hybrid role. Candidates will need to be local to the areas, with opportunities for remote work 3-4 days per week.
