As Lead Product Designer (In-Store Operations), you'll be part of the product and tech organization owning the development of our In-Store Operations software which is used by store employees to manage their inventory, ordering, and space. The use processes cross hand-held scanners with touch UIs, mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers. We make the complex machine learning and AI powered retail operations simple for our In-Store users. You will be instrumental in the rapidly growing In-Store Production product area, by tackling overarching design challenges. We have weekly design sessions to show our work and to get feedback from our peers to ensure we learn something new with every project. What we need you to do and be Join us as Lead Product Designer (In-Store Operations), and this is some of what you’ll be doing:

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working as a designer
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design (user research, interaction design, visual design) with complex B2B products
  • Strong experience in designing for mobile
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge existing assumptions and product requirements based on user research and your understanding of user needs
  • Comfortable with presenting designs and articulating design decisions
  • Pro-activity & ability to self-govern your work
  • Track record of actively contributing to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping solve problems collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Own the holistic In-Store user experience , defining and driving a unified journey for store users as we combine capabilities from different RELEX product areas into a single, coherent mobile first UI
  • Lead design work at a product-area level , using discovery research and high-level concepts to align use processes and product teams around a shared UI that meets both user needs and business goals
  • Set and maintain shared interaction patterns, behaviors, and visual principles across the In-Store product area, ensuring consistency, scalability, and high design quality
  • Act as a design authority within the product area , challenging assumptions, clarifying trade-offs, and helping teams make confident, user-centered design decisions
  • Contribute to design leadership beyond your own work , through regular critique, design reviews, and knowledge sharing—helping raise the bar for design across the team while remaining an individual contributor
