The Lead Product Data Analyst will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the Criminal and Public Records Product organization. This role is the facilitator all aspects of the criminal data product roadmap, and will drive the activities of the corresponding teams who will build, integrate or enhance any new or existing products in their respective portfolio aligned to the product roadmap using Agile methodology. The Senior Criminal Data Analyst will coordinate and initiate appropriate criminal data product strategy coupled with the Criminal and Public Records product team, Scrum Master, QA and Engineering.   • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics purposes
  • Design and implement data models and algorithms to support business objectives
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support various business initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in data analysis techniques and best practices
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms
  • Automate and orchestrate ETL processes using PowerShell, scripts, or other technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Five or more years of experience in data analysis or related field
  • Proven expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize for performance
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Ability to understand, organize, manipulate and derive complex data insights from large data sets
  • Experience with ETL processes, data pipeline orchestration, and automation
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modelling techniques
  • Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building and negotiating skill
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional business travel
