The Boeing Company's Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) Operational Excellence (OpEx) organization is currently seeking a Lead Procurement Analyst/Contracts & Risk Management Advisor. This opportunity is available at any of our major Boeing sites. In this role, you'll provide critical contracting and negotiation support to ISC's 5 procurement towers (Corporate Services, Factory Production & Site Services, Information Digital Technology & Security, International, and Logistics). You'll work closely with procurement agents, legal, and process development stakeholders to understand and mitigate risk within Boeing's indirect supply chain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience drafting and negotiating terms and conditions in support of indirect supply chain commodities. The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to help modernize ways of working, bringing in industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
  • 10 or more years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex legal contract terms and conditions and business terms (excluding pricing and delivery)
  • 10 or more years of experience in performing risk assessments of terms and conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • 15 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 or more years of experience supporting internal customers
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software (e.g. Icertis)

Responsibilities

  • Support ISC Procurement Agents with modifications to terms and conditions
  • Provide terms and conditions negotiation support to the ISC towers
  • Develop contract negotiation strategies and positions as they relate to specific terms
  • Develop strategies with cross functional stakeholders to minimize contractual risk within Boeing terms and conditions
  • Provide guidance and support on contractual enforcement
  • Identify, develop, and lead procurement agent training activities related to terms, proformas, and negotiation best practices
  • Support implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) software solution (clause library set up and maintenance)
